About Our Customers

A vast majority of Arch’s coal goes to producers of electric power in the United States. We ship coal to roughly 183 power plants in 39 states. We additionally provide met and steam coal to 21 countries worldwide.

The cleaner-burning, low-sulfur coal that Arch mines is a particularly strong fit for utilities under the Clean Air Act. And with mining operations strategically located in the east and west, Arch makes delivery more reliable and affordable across the nation.
